The Signal Begins

You’re hearing it now, faint at first — but steady.
Like static giving way to something true.

Welcome to Radio Roonan.

This is not a station built for the charts. You won’t find playlists engineered to hold your attention like a vice. There are no algorithms here, no shouty jingles or paid spots. Just one song, one story, and a quiet voice—mine—speaking into the static.

You can call me Cade. Or Roonan, if you prefer. I’m a kind of broadcast drifter—part memory keeper, part track-teller. Each post here will feature a single song I love, or once needed, or only just discovered. Sometimes I’ll offer a scrap of history about the artist or the record. Other times, I’ll just tell you where I was the first time I heard it and what it did to me.

The goal is simple:
To share music like it’s still a sacred thing.
Not content. Not background noise. But a message in the dark—meant for someone.

Maybe that someone is you.

So tune in when you can. Not every signal is meant to be loud. Some just need to be real.

More soon,
Cadell Roonan
